Artist Bio
The Little Friends of Printmaking are J W & Melissa Buchanan, a husband-and-wife team of artists and designers whose clients include Nike, Harmonix, and NPR. Originally trained as fine art printmakers, their dalliance in silk-screened concert posters quickly turned into a design career. In 2006, they received the Young Guns award from the Art Directors’ Club, honoring the world’s finest emerging creatives under 30. Their work has been exhibited internationally, and they have been published in the recent books New Masters of Poster Design (Rockport) and Beasts! (Fantagraphics).

About the Print
Letterpressed using 3 runs on the Vandercook by hand with handfed Stonehenge 90lb printmaking paper with ink carefully mixed by hand. Every print is unique in its impression, variations in color and placement, the very quality that makes letterpressed prints so beautiful. Print Size is 8”x 10” including the 0.5” border for framing.
