Glasgow Series Wallet - Marc Baines

Baines is a cartoonist, illustrator, printmaker, and publisher. He has a Master of Philosophy from Glasgow School of Art and now teaches in the Illustration department. During the 1990s, he ran Vesuvius Records with Pat Laureate of Melody Dog and Brian McDougall of the Yummy Fur. He has contributed comics to Ugly Mug, Witch, and Offbeat Magazine and exhibited in Glasgow, Stirling, London, and Philadelphia. His imprint, Kingly Books, is one of the few publishers of new independent comics in the UK and its spin-off imprint, Kingly-Reprieve, has recently started publishing crime novels by cult filmmakers. He is currently working on an extended comics biography of the folk singer Hedy West. www.kinglybooks.com
