Chako Suzuki
Chako Suzuki is a progressive art curator with more than 20 successful shows under her belt in the cities of Seattle, San Diego, San Francisco, Oaxaca, and Tokyo. She graduated from University of California San Diego with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts. She has worked with national magazines such as Giant Robot and RE:UP Magazine; with San Diego non-profit arts organization, Sushi Art; and extensively with San Diego’s Cassius King Gallery. The goal of her work is to promote up-and-coming and young artists, expose all walks of life to the importance of art, and collecting artworks. She aims to make art accessible and unintimidating while opening up a dialogue about what art is and what it can be. Chako also occasionally exhibits her small-scale multi-media collage works.
