Artist Bio
Tim Gough has been working in Philadelphia as a designer/art director for various agencies and design firms for the past 5 years. Along the way he founded a
clothing line and worked with national and international clients. In 2007, Tim left the agency life behind to pursue illustration and art full time. His work has been found in magazines, newspapers, and other ephemera nationwide and abroad. Tim also publishes a limited edition zine called ‘Cut and Paste,’ a collection of drawings and things, and frequently shows his drawings and screenprints in various
galleries and shows.
Artist Inspiration
This print was inspired by the Kinks album “Muswell Hillbillies” which focus on the frustrations and stresses of modern life, a theme one can often relate to.
About the Print
Letterpressed using 3 runs on the Vandercook by hand with handfed Stonehenge 90lb printmaking paper with ink carefully mixed by hand. Every print is unique in its impression, variations in color and placement, the very quality that makes letterpressed prints so beautiful. Print Size is 8”x 10” including the 0.5” border for framing.
