Artist Bio
Tom Vadakan (TV1) is an artist based out of Long Beach, CA. He enjoys a variety of media, from oil paintings, to mixed media, to pencil drawings, to digital drawings. The common denominator is that his subject are people. TV1 digs music, surfing, and cherishes time with family and friends.
Artist Inspiration
I wanted to do a piece that conveyed “dressing up”, being someone else not who you really are. The characters in the painting tell a story with their eyes and
posture.
About the Print
Printed with archival-pigmented ink on 310gsm acid-free Hahnemühle German Etching paper, which has the subtle texture of an etching paper and a soft white tone. The print has been sprayed with a print shield to enhance resistance to damaging UV light, air pollutants, moisture, and fingerprints. Print Size is 8”x 6” including the 0.5” border for framing.
