Mari Araki
Since a young age Mari Araki has been captivated by the visual arts. Her early influence come from Carlo Mollino, one of the most acclaimed artist of the early 60’s. When she was 12 she began to dabble with stream of conscious drawing, which she credits as a major influence in her art. In her spare time she likes to eat, shop while visiting her hometown Japan, torture imaginary friends, build chairs out of candy, collect toys, and dream about flying.mariaraki.com
