Stuart White

Stuart White is an artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. After being raised on pancakes and graduating from art school he has collaborated extensively with Glasgow creative retail project Hitherto. Much of his personal work comes from an interest in mass consumption/production and what impact today’s shallow consumer driven culture has on us. He attempts to develop processes and illustrations that discuss these issues in an interesting and thought-provoking way. Glasgow Series Artist

Poketo, in collaboration with Hitherto Gallery, launched the “Glasgow Artist Series” to celebrate its participation in the Glasgow International Festival, one of Europe’s premier biennial art events, that celebrates Glasgow’s acclaimed visual arts. Emily was part of the “Glasgow International Festival Artist Series.”
