Artist Bio

Omar Lee is an illustrator and designer living in foggy/sunny/rainy San Francisco, CA. When he isn’t drawing, painting, or moving pixels around on a screen, he can be found making music with guitars, rickety old amplifiers, and reel-to-reel tape.

Artist Inspiration

This piece is about the relationship between risk, antiquated things, and simulated wood grain.

About the Print

Letterpressed using 3 runs on the Vandercook by hand with handfed Stonehenge 90lb printmaking paper with ink carefully mixed by hand. Every print is unique in its impression, variations in color and placement, the very quality that makes letterpressed prints so beautiful. Print Size is 10”x 8” including the 0.5” border for framing.

Funny enough, the computer depicted in this print (An Ohio Scientific Challenger 4P) had real wood on the sides. I know, I actually have one of them in my basement.
