Artist Bio
Anne Cibola holds an undergraduate degree in Print Media from Concordia University in Montreal, and a Masters degree in Art History and Curatorial Studies from York University in Toronto. She and her husband, Marco Cibola, are graphic designers working under the name Nove Studio.
Artist Inspiration
Radiating explores organic shape and repetition. Although abstract, it does bring to mind natural elements that appear from a distance to be patterned: flocks of birds, waves, flower petals, fish scales, etc..
About the Print
Letterpressed using Chandler & Price Platen (circa 1911) by hand with handfed Stonehenge 90lb printmaking paper with ink carefully mixed by hand. Every print is unique in its impression, variations in color and placement, the very quality that makes letterpressed prints so beautiful. Print Size: 8″x10” including the 0.5″ border for framing.
