Akira Wakui
Personally described as a 3D illustrator, Akira Wakui is the latest new age “figure” artist. His paintings are at times precise, detailed, and structurally complicated. While at other times, they are composed of simple shapes and figure drawings. He has exhibited at Zakka Gallery in New York, Compound Gallery in Portland, and has competed in the “Tokyo Doll Exhibition” in Toronto.
