Valero moved from his native Spain to London and, having received a Creative Futures Awards from Creative Review magazine, begun taking on freelance illustration commissions. He loves collage and drawing. His inspiration sometimes comes from Japanese and Chinese symbology, colorful designs with fanciful shapes.
