About the Artist:

Niels Oeltjen (aka Nails) grew up in small coastal towns of Tasmania under the guidance of artisan parents - an environment of discovery and expression that continues to influence his work. Since then he has been a constant contributor to the art-world in Australia in his many guises as painter, muralist, illustrator and graphic designer. His true calling is painting and he pursues it with passion. Niels' work celebrates nature, mysticism, folklore, and the child in everyone.
