Big Macs via your mobile phone
noticed there was a thingamajig hanging off a menu stand outside the Yondae MaDonald’s and my friend told me that you can make orders once you’ve downloaded an application & attached the device.
if they were designing something to avoid queues, wonder why they didn’t create a menu kiosk with a T Money reader instead? perhaps the Meta data for them & SK Telecom is more important.

Gives a whole new meaning to fast food. Where is the logic? I don’t get it, since you generally pick up your food within minutes of ordering. Is this really going to get the food to the customer faster?

it’s to avoid the long queues, esp in high density youth culture areas like Sinchon which is between clubby/cafe-y Hongdae and girly fashion mecca Edae.
used for the same reason as airport check in & cinema ticket kiosks.
