I love when our little design ideas get noticed. LA Times Home featured our Poketo store tables as a cool, DIY project. Some things we love about our display tables…

1. The bright pop of yellow on the legs. Poketo yellow? Yes!
2. The sawhorse legs are fully adjustable heights and easily stored when not in use.
3. The awesome MDF color of the solid core doors.

The concept is simple, but, having our contractor, Matt Cole of Delta Remodeling Inc, execute the assembly and finishing was huge.

I will reveal one negative about the tables… because it’s solid core and quite large, these tables are HEAVY and can be a pain to move around. You definitely need some muscle, but, hey think of it as your exercise for the day.

It takes a lot to build a store. Our amazing internal team here at Poketo, architects, contractors, designers, builders, consultants, bloggers and FRIENDS. Seriously, this is so much a project of love, without the generosity and support from everyone… hands down, these types of projects could never get done. Because it’s not about the dollars, its’ about building something real, something with soul, something that means everything to everyone involved.

We put up our sign today… it’s official.

If you’ve been following the store progress through Instagram, you know it has taken over 4 months to build out… and of course, it didn’t help that there were lots of food and friends in-between the busyness of it all. I’ve been posting pics of fans that have been rolling through… now, here are some Instagram photos of the store and some of the offerings… you’ll find things here that you won’t find in the webstore… and trust me, we are just getting started.

The Poketo Store is open everyday. This weekend we open from 11am to 7pm. See you then!
