Meet Matt Furie, artist extraordinaire and all-around nice guy. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, and currently lives in San Francisco. He is a Leo, he enjoys long walks in the park, bubble baths, and an occasional glass of wine. He also likes to draw on his mail while waiting in line at the post office.

Matt often incorporates interesting textures in his work. His background as a picture framer has informed his process a great deal–he would experiment with indentations and textures with scraps of mat board, which is by nature very soft, and then draw on top of those marks.

His comic book series “Boy’s Club,” offers a hearty helping of uncensored bathroom humor and friendship. Volumes 2 and 3 are available here!
