Whoot? Who?

All right, we might be a little guilty of some owl loving, but these are just too cute to pass up.

This tea set is a perfect warmer for the cooler nights ahead.

This adorably round teapot comes with its own filter, plus two cups perfect for sharing.

How about some sugar with that?

The owl secret container also makes for a nice, cubbyhole to fill your house keys or little trinkets with without anyone knowing.

Just add a dash of salt and pepper and we’re ready to go.

Nature at home

Nature can be such an inspiring thing.

From our trip to Yosemite.

Its appeal is endless, which is why we always find ourselves clinging to every hint of it, even when we’re safely tucked at home. These teak coasters, are something special.

The teak coaster perfectly paired with the color dipped mug.

Handmade from reclaimed wood, each coaster is like a small reminder that there are bigger, more amazing things out there in the big, wide world. Their exposed tree rings constantly mesmerize us and make us wonder what things they’ve seen and what stories they could tell.

Teak has natural weatherproof qualities, which means no sealers or treatments were used on these beautiful pieces. Just simple nature’s beauty.

Color the world

We love it when old things become new, more beautiful objects. We can’t think of a better example than these colored pencil sets new to the site.

First, we feed our wanderlust with these colored pencils made with recycled newspapers.

A set of 12 assorted colors that comes in a nifty craft tube, each one provides endless entertainment with the little hints of yesterday’s news still easily readable. Most are in Chinese, in fact, perhaps this is a way they get information out of that Great Wall of China? We don’t really know, but it’s still fun to speculate.

Then, we once again take inspiration from nature with these Reclaimed Branch Colored Pencils made with mango wood.

We love its texture in our hands. Neither straight, nor narrow, they wake up our sense of possibility just by breaking a little out of the norm.

What would you use to fuel your color your world?

Dear, deer clips

A beautiful re-imagining of the mundane paperclip, these deer were inspired by the thousands of free-roaming deer in the town of Nara in Japan.

What better way to bookmark a special page or separate a prized message than with these dear things…

The deer clips come in a specially made glass jar with a cork stopper, which also make a great addition to your desk–whether you choose to use those clips or not.
