It was a blast, thank you Los Angeles!
To celebrate Halloween and more importantly, to get folks in our community together, we had Kyle Durrie’s Type Truck in front of the Poketo store for our Type or Treat event. You’ve been hearing a lot about it in the last couple of weeks… for the hundreds of you that came out, thank you! It was a blast. Being in LA, we aren’t dealing with the disaster happening on the East Coast with Hurricane Sandy… we want to send big love and a little sunshine to our friends there…
Beautiful Dao in front of The Moveable Type Truck. By the way, did you see her in our latest Disney collaboration?
That’s Michael C. Hsiung here, one of the artists involved in the event… his beloved print was the first to the press and people were clamoring for them!
They are awesome… Nellie Le and Kevin Chan…
Kim West, a resident right here in the Arts District and one of the three artists involved in this event… here with her husband and our very own Mariel of Poketo!
Family… artist Tom Vadakan with my little nice and nephew.
Oh man, my other family and neighbors… Michael of Handsome Coffee and Raan of Apolis.
Yummy Halloween inspired, bacon donut holes from Cafe Dulce. All gone in a flash. Yum!!
Kate Bingaman Burt’s print as wings…
Poketo’s writer extraordinaire… Rachel!
