Flux closes 2009 with a big bang! Michel Gondry on drums with Mia Doi Todd!!
Last night, if you were following our tweets, you knew that we were at the Flux film screening held at The Hammer Museum. A big old bash, especially when you have a world premiere music video from Michel Gondry and Mia Doi Todd, “Open Your Heart” along with killer videos from directors, Keith Schofield, Allison Schulnik, Kevin Phillips, Stefan Nadelman and Radical Friend.
The night ended with a bonus performance from Mia Doi Todd and friends, including Michel Gondry on drums! The pic above, love the Flux sign hanging above Souther Salazar and friends. It was great catching up Souther and hearing about his 25 foot mural at JANM’s Giant Robot Biennale show right now.
Angie Poketo and Phuong-Cac Nguyen. Phuong is awesome… author of the definitive Total Sao Paulo and contributor to Cool Hunting among others.

Bobby of Kitsune Noir, Angie Poketo, Meg Wells of Flux, and our friend Matt!

Filmmaker, Stefan Nadelman… he had a piece in the show last night.

Here is Stefan’s piece
That’s Janet Lee, of Poketo… you’ve been reading some of her blog posts on our blog lately.

Here are some of the other pieces that screened last night. Congratulations to Jonathan and Meg Wells of Flux for closing out the Flux screenings this year with a big bang!!
