Here are some beautiful pictures of the Giant Kite Festival held in Sumpango, Guatemala celebrating All Saints Day, which was this past Sunday. These kites can range anywhere from 20-50 feet wide and are all constructed out of colorful tissue paper and bamboo! The kites smaller in size are normally flown over the town cemetery to pay tribute to departed loved ones. I can only imagine how awesome it would be to watch all of these kites suspended in the sky.
