Happy is a great new store on Hollywood. The small block has some new life to it with Happy, Confederacy, American Apparel, Cobras and Matadors and a new, but, not yet opened vinyl record store by the owner of Secret Headquarters. Happy presented art by David Weidman on Friday night. David is an old school printmaker most prominent in 1950s and 60s. The work at Happy are all original pieces from the 1960s… fun, happy, and warm. In his 90s now, he didn’t show up at the opening, but, it’s understandable, it was raining and David has had his fair share of art shows over the years… his work on the walls were enough.
