This is a Greenhouse project showcasing sustainable building options by Joost. The structure is built of steel and the insulation is of hay! All of the furniture is either a mix of recycled street signage or interlocking wood. This is a temporary space in Melbourne and comes down in January 2009. Not sure where it’s going next or what’s happening with the space. I guess the construction was easy enough to put up and take down–a nice example of efficient, sustainable design.
