Bought this CD yesterday and I can’t stop listening to it. Department of Eagles features Dan Rossen, Chris Taylor, and Chris Bear of highly acclaimed indie-folk band, Grizzly Bear. It also features newcomer and incredible singer/songwriter Fred Nicolas, a good friend of Dan Rossen. There’s something deeply satisfying about Dan’s voice that I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of. When I saw him perform solo and with Grizzly Bear at the Walt Disney Concert Hall earlier this year, it was an incredible and enjoyable experience. If you’re a fan of Grizzly Bear as much as I am, there’s no doubt that you’ll be hooked on Department of Eagles.
