We were part of the jury earlier in the year for the American Illustration Annual. A beautiful book with some of the best illustrations in different categories for the year. We sifted through over 3000 entries and picked the top 300! Others on the jury include folks from The New York Times, Harper’s, The Walrus, and Penguin Books. The pics you see above are from the party and special collaboration we did with Parsons The New School for Design Illustration Department who were part of the party-launch event in New York. We teamed up with them to produce five Poketo wallets that were only available at the party. These wallets are by current Parsons students or what I like to think of as, up and coming stars. They are Sophia Chang, Stella Jiyeun Lee, Shu Okada, Emmanuel Tavares, and Chris Yip.
